The YWCA works to eliminate disparities that disproportionately affect women and families of color by opening the doors to opportunity and self-sufficiency. By empowering people how to navigate education, health care, and housing, the YWCA is helping to ensure all communities in King County are equal – and that all kids in King County have an equal chance at success. The key to that success is education – and that’s where Emerging Leaders come in!
When you’re young, nothing says “back to school” more than sharpened colored pencils and that new-crayon smell – we’ll be stuffing and sorting school supplies so all kids are able to experience that joy come September.
