In partnership with United Ways from around the state, United Way of King County will be spending the day educating state legislators on and advocating for our public policy goal: creating a community where people have homes, students graduate, and families are financially stable. Our expertise and experience working with our community and how the government can support that work help us move legislation and public funding to make it possible.
Join a group of volunteers to make your voice heard on the issues that you care about! We’ll provide a brief phone training prior to Lobby Day for participants to become familiar with our core public policy issues, as well as talking points and background information in day-of packets for all volunteers.
