Monthly Volunteer Challenge: Create thank you cards for essential workers

For the past several months during COVID-19, most of us have been staying home to slow the spread of the virus. However, essential workers have still been showing up for work each day to provide necessary services for our community. Food bank staff, shelter employees, and United Way’s own team of AmeriCorps have been working hard to connect our neighbors with resources. Thank you for joining United Way of King County in writing letters of additional thanks and appreciation for our AmeriCorps and nonprofit staff who are working tirelessly every day to support and elevate our community.

By signing up for this project, you are agreeing to write thank you notes to 5 AmeriCorps  and/or essential nonprofits such as food banks and shelters. Depending on which recipients you are assigned, the thank you notes will either be hand-written (and you’ll need to provide cards, envelopes, and stamps) or virtual (emails or e-cards for AmeriCorps that are working remotely).

Join us virtually on August 5 from 5:30pm-6:30PM to kick off the project learn more.
