It seems that lately, all anyone can talk about is the approaching cold weather, and here at UWKC it’s no different! As the weather gets chilly, warm food gets even more comforting – so Emerging Leaders are partnering with Angeline’s to provide homeless women a safe space for a hearty lunch. At Angeline’s, these women not only have access to meals, but also to laundry, showers, activities and connections to other services.
At Angeline’s, we’ll add a fun touch to the dining room with colorful tablecloths and napkins before serving lunch to guests (usually 100-150 women each day!). It’s also a great opportunity to chat and offer a friendly face to those in need.
