Join us for Change makers: Volunteer and Learn on March 23rd, 2024, from 10-12PM. Emily Portillio and Riham Hashi will be leading an enlightening session on United Way’s impactful post-secondary education and systems change initiatives. Delve into United Way of King County’s unwavering dedication to racial equity through systemic transformation and witness firsthand how this commitment manifests in our projects.
In this immersive experience, attendees will not only gain insights into our community-driven approach but also actively contribute to our mission. Together, we will assemble kits destined for the Shoreline Community College Benefits Hub, a vital resource center serving students’ academic and personal needs. These kits will directly combat food insecurity, a pressing issue faced by many students.
By participating in this volunteer and learning opportunity, you’ll be making a tangible difference in the lives of students at Shoreline Community College and beyond. Join us as we come together to create positive change, one kit at a time.
