United Way of King County supports nonprofits’ work through resources such as volunteers, advocacy, and funding.
Join us at Seed2Fork Farm as we prepare for the upcoming growing season! Volunteers will help set up the farm’s aquaponic system, laying the groundwork for a sustainable, soil-free growing process that integrates fish and plant production.
There’s plenty of work in the garden, too. Tasks may include clearing beds, preparing soil, organizing tools and supplies, and getting planting spaces ready for spring crops. This hands-on project directly supports local food production and helps ensure the farm is ready for a successful season of growth.

Please note that these volunteer projects help serve the needs of our community organizations, and the volunteer capacity is set to support that. If you need to cancel your commitment to a project, please do so at least 48 hours in advance.
