Join FareStart CEO and United Way of King County board member, Angela Dunleavy-Stowell for our virtual Speaker Series on August 18th. Angela will talk about her career, philanthropy and how FareStart is addressing COVID-19 and racial equity in recent months. You will have a chance to ask Angela questions after each section of the program.

Prior to her role at FareStart, Angela was co-founder and CEO of Ethan Stowell Restaurants, a Seattle-based hospitality group. In addition to United Way, Angela is on the Board of Directors the Seattle-King County Workforce Development Council and the Downtown Seattle Association.

FareStart is a James Beard Award-winning nonprofit organization that empowers adults and young people experiencing poverty and homelessness through job training and employment in the foodservice industry. FareStart teaches life skills and provides hands on training to students through its social enterprise cafes, restaurants and catering operations and provides over 900,000 meals to the Greater Seattle community each year

We’ll start off the night with some time for you to connect and network with other attendees before the program begins.

Hope to see you there!
