We’re kicking off Days of Caring with five ways for you to take action TODAY:
Host a supply drive
There are hundreds of nonprofits in King County that need your help. This list includes organizations that are led by and serving communities of color, like Mission Africa who is collecting toys and warm coats for children. Look through the list and then rally your friends, coworkers and family to purchase as many supplies as you can. Coordinate with the nonprofit to make a contactless delivery drop this week.
Volunteer Virtually
There are so many ways to lend a hand without having to leave your home. Check out our list and find a project that works for you. Organizations still need your skills, expertise and time!
Take Action for Racial Justice
Check out this article on how activists recommend you can help stop police brutality and enact real change.

Volunteer in Person
We have a limited number of small, in-person volunteer projects ranging from assembling care packages to canvassing for census awareness. Snag a spot at a project that works for you.
#DayofCaringKC
Each day of caring people shared how they got involved and tagged us using #DayofCaringKC. We picked our favorite post based on creativity, passion and fun. The person selected got $100 to a BIPOC-owned restaurant and the nonprofit they tagged got a $500 mini grant!
Congrats to our Take Action Day winner, @bahnfire, for winning $100 to a BIPOC-owned restaurant, and to @hornofafricaservices for receiving a $500 mini grant!
Thanks to our generous sponsors:
